WhatsApp usage is stagnating, iMessage is exploding
WhatsApp feels creepy to some, who are passionate about the chicness of Apple Messages
I feel Apple Messages, thanks to its built in iMessage feature, is the slick, elegant and simple communication tool of choice. This article helps me feel I’m not the only one.
“…communication overload is a reality of modern life. “The human brain can’t sustain mass communication, as you can only listen to a few people at once. We can’t deal with so much information.” Dr Martha Newson, University of Greenwich.
The challenge I have for the article is the idea that the “text message is back”. What this writer doesn’t understand is that text messaging never “went” anywhere, the apps, Apple Messages and Google Messages, evolved to use internet protocol to catch up with WhatsApp.
It’s an interesting article regardless, check it out.
